Tour Description

Imagine yourself on April 19, 1775, the dawn of the American Revolution. Your journey through history begins at the Old North Church, where the iconic "One if by Land, Two if by Sea" lanterns were hung. We'll trace the footsteps of Paul Revere and the advancing British troops as they made their way to Lexington.

In Lexington, feel the weight of history as we stand on the Battle Green, the very ground where the first shots of the Revolution rang out. Continue to the North Bridge in Concord, and stand on the spot where "the shot heard 'round the world" ignited a nation's fight for independence.

Enjoy some time in Concord for lunch, to find unique souvenirs, and to explore this historically rich town at your own pace.

In the afternoon, visit the Concord Museum, where you'll come face-to-face with relics of April 19th, including the real lantern that was hung in Old North Church that fateful night.

Then hop in the van back to Cambridge, where you'll stroll through Harvard Yard and Cambridge Common, which served as a strategic encampment for the colonial army during the Siege of Boston. At Cambridge Common, you'll stand on the precise spot where George Washington assumed command of the Continental Army, a moment that shaped the course of the war. Finally, we'll conclude our immersive experience at the Bunker Hill Memorial, where you'll learn about the fierce battle that demonstrated the unwavering spirit of the colonists just two months after the first shots of the Revolution were fired at Lexington.

Throughout the day, our expert guides, licensed by the town of Concord, will lead the group with humor and education in mind. Your tour will be enhanced with in-depth historical battle maps, allowing you to follow each step of this momentous day in American history in detail.
