Tour Description
Picture this: morning, April 19, 1775, the dawn of the first day of the American Revolution.
Your historical journey commences at the Old North Church, the site of the legendary
"One if by Land, Two if by Sea" lantern signal. Walk in the footsteps of Paul Revere, then
hop in a private van and track the advance of the British forces toward Lexington
Arriving in Lexington, you'll feel the profound weight of history on the Battle Green,
where the opening shots of the Revolution echoed. Continue to the North Bridge in
Concord, where you'll stand at the location where "the shot heard 'round the world"
started a nation's quest for independence.
Pause in Concord for lunch - options include the historic Colonial Inn!
The afternoon brings us to the Concord Museum, where you'll artifacts from that fateful
day, including the authentic lantern that shone from the Old North Church the night before.
Afterward, we'll travel back to Cambridge, where you'll wander through Harvard Yard and
Cambridge Common, a crucial encampment for the colonial army during the Siege of Boston.
At Cambridge Common, you'll stand on the exact spot where George Washington took command
of the Continental Army, a defining moment in the war. Finally, our immersive experience
culminates at the Bunker Hill Memorial, where you'll learn about the intense battle
that showcased the unwavering resolve of the colonists just two months after Lexington.
